My name is Karin Lindahl and I’m a ceramic artist and designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. I run the company Clay Stories by Karin.

In my work, I strive to create a balance between form and function, where the aesthetic and the practical come together in a harmonious way. My objects are playful, both in colour and design. It is an expression of my desire to inspire more joy and playfulness in people’s lives and to dare to surround oneself with colourful and playful elements. Colour makes me happy and is a significant source of inspiration in my work. I believe in the power of colour psychology and its ability to influence how we feel and our experience of the world around us.

Mostly I work with stoneware clay and use traditional hand building techniques such as coiling, rolling and pinching. Every object that I make is designed and handmade by myself and each and every one of them is one of a kind and has its own story.
